In 2007 SEVEN worked with Warburtons Supply Chain team to implement Sales and Operations Planning and developed an LIS based planning solution to allow for enhanced forecasting and to support the S&OP process.
Adam Marson, Supply Chain Director for Warburtons, also kindly co-presented with SEVEN's MD, Sean Culey, at the SAP Supply Chain Management Special Interest Group (SCM SIG) in July 2007 on these developments and roadmaps that had been developed by SEVEN to create a clear way forward for the Warburtons business in relation to their use of SAP to create an integrated supply chain solution.
In 2008 SEVEN also worked with the Warburtons Purchasing team on the development of a Supplier Relationship Management solution using SAP SRM.
This successful project, named ‘Aurora’, was recognised for its quick ROI and acceptance within the business, and as a result Warburtons entered it into the Real IT awards “Delivering IT value” category. Other companies entered into this category included: British Airways, Schroder’s and the British Council.
The project achieved a very credible runner up position and the team a real sense of achievement to take back to Warburtons with them.
