At SEVEN, the customer is at the heart of everything we do.
The vast majority of consultancies in the ERP arena concentrate their efforts on acquiring implementation work. There are usually a number of financial reasons behind this;
- They are usually Value Added Resellers (VAR's) for the ERP software company
- Implementations are usually done with clients that have limited (or no) previous experience of implementing that product. This means that they are totally reliant on the consultancy to provide the skills required in order to implement the product
- The client usually has limited experience or prior knowledge around what is required in order to implement the ERP system successfully. This means that the consultancy can usually swamp the client with expensive consultants, without them being able to knowledgeably challenge the need for the large number of additional personnel
- The standard indicator of success for an implementation is whether the go-live was successful. Success, however, is usually measured in terms of being able to still run the business. By the time the client has bedded down the system and realised that they are not achieving benefits over and above their legacy system, the consultancy is long gone, having been well paid for their 'efforts'
This is where SEVEN differ.
We are not interested in pushing software onto organisations that do not need it.
What we do (and do very well) is work with customers who may have already spent significant amounts on SAP, ensuring that they have the basics right, using our knowledge and experience to define a platform for continuous improvement and growth, and work with them ensuring that the benefits case for each piece of improvement work is achieved. Only when the client is comfortable with the current level of change, and receiving the benefits from the initiative, will we suggest moving forward to the next level of our Maturity Roadmaps.

- We challenge the client to question their existing process, and propose alternatives that are achievable in terms of being able to manage the level of change

- We transfer our knowledge to your personnel so that you have the skills to support your own processes and systems
- We aim to delight our clients by continually adding value; value that is measurable in terms of increased service, reduced costs and reduced working capital
