“It’s not the strongest nor the most intelligent that survive – it’s the ones that are most resilient to change” – Charles Darwin
Changing minds and behaviours can be the biggest hurdle of all.
We appreciate the effect change can have on an organisation. Changing data and technology is relatively easy – which is why it happens to be most organisations first port of call when trying to resolve an issue. Always on the look out for a ‘silver bullet’ solution that unfortunately doesn’t exist.
In order to establish the environment for change, the following elements all need to be present:

The essentials to effecting positive change.

Without a vision for the change, there will be confusion

Without the necessary skills to make the changes, there will be anxiety

Without the incentive to change, delays are inevitable

Without the required resources available, there will be frustration

Without an action plan, there will be numerous false starts.
Changing or buying new technology is always much easier than changing processes. However, it's not the solution.
Process change requires thought and development as to new ways of working. New ways of working however, require the changing of minds and behaviours – and this is not easily achieved. In fact, this can be so time consuming that most companies lose their way before seeing the journey through. This is why most ERP implementations fail to achieve their true potentials and companies end up considering whether their significant investment in this technology was worth the subsequent effort and upheaval.
Minds and behaviours are not changed overnight
Companies that promise to implement wide scoping SAP solutions for you in a matter of weeks are only changing the technical solution; they are not making your business better.
Improvements in business performance always require changes in processes and behaviours
Technology can be a great enabler to support these changes and can simplify the effort required – however, without process change it’s simply a different way of following the same old process.
If you do what you always did, then you’ll get the same result
This is a universal truth regardless of the tool you use. This is why so many companies that have invested in SAP have not realised the benefits of that investment – they have not used the opportunity to re-engineer their processes and develop new ways of working that would make them more efficient, knowledgeable and profitable.
Change - best handled in strategic, manageable chunks
Take on too much change at one go and the business is exposed; too little and the benefits are not achieved. We can work with your company to prioritise the opportunities, identify the change and resource implications and train and coach your company through this period so that the desired results are achieved.
We go beyond the normal standard individual training courses by ensuring the key business users understand the integrated nature of the solution and are knowledgeable of how the 'value drivers' will bring them business benefits.
